Do you have any crafting goals?
As in the title.Do you plan to finish a big piece this year? Do you want to learn needle felting? Or do you want only to escape the real world?
Personally, Im looking forward to looking more into calligraphy.
I would love to try needle felting. My brother does amazing calligraphy and is often asked to do wedding invitations and the like. But for now Im working on a HUGE project by Stoney creek. I started last August and lost steam. I really do need to get back to that before starting something new. static/image/common/user_online.gif Duckeyd static/image/common/clock.gif 2021-4-27 22:52

Sometimes it really helps if you bring in some variation. Its easy to lose your crafty bug when you do a big project. Try to do a small stitch you can finish during a weekend or so. Those can work miracles for motivation :lol Funny you bring up variation!
I have too many variation in my projects and dont seem to finish anything.
And moderating is taking quite some time too per day.
My goal is to FINISH what I started.
It keeps me busy till after Summer Im afraid ;P Have a few ongoing, though prefer to complete one before proceeding to next. Started a blanket 2 years ago. Still in 1/3rd stage and a sweater stuck in yoke stage. When corona started, I dug into my box of cross stitch supplies and started whit the old hobby, after nearly 10 years of doing something completely different (wood work like bird feeders and garden racks).
Now its corona time for over a year and I did a lot of cross stitch projects - needle cases, tobacco pouch for my husband, nearly every relative got a tablecloth and so on.
Last month I started a big picture (House of parliament in London in 6 shades of grey) and that will keep me busy for a while :) Bonjour,j’aimerai bien essayer le crochet.
J’admire beaucoup les réalisations que je vois passer ici. I am still learning what I like, but I do like to attempt to finish a project a month. Right now I have 10 cross stitch WIPs and have 2 that are fairly small. I don’t think I’ll finish else this month, but I do like focusing on one thing at a time when I can.
