I love to browse the threads in "Stitch Diary", BUT....
...sometimes it makes me sad :(You want to know why?
Because, if I see a beautiful finished picture and the uploader doesnt tell which pattern it is!
Dear Stitch Diary uploaders please share not just a picture of your work, but also the name of the pattern and perhaps (if possible) the link in this forum for download.
Might be, that Im not the only one who would like to know it :D
Happy stitching to all of you!!!
Sometimes I think that some of the members are exhibiting in "Stitch Diary" work that is not theirs. Otherwise, why not write the title of the work? :dizzy:
Some have so many embroideries that I also have doubts.
Perhaps people show their old workы and really dont remember anything. I have to agree with you. Sometimes they share a beautiful picture but not the pattern. Also makes me sad! You can always ask for the pattern name. Asking the member for the name of their design doesnt always work. I wonder if making an amendment to the rules of diary to add this suggestion might not help. Too true there are a many number of nice designs but they dont share those names. When you ask for the pattern name in Stitch Diary, then there a two problems...
1. Probably there are forum members, who dont read the posts in their own threads - like Caro1970 wrote
2. Together with all the big and small problems in the forum, there is one that I really dont like - you dont get a notification anymore, when someone writes in the thread you started. You have to look every day into it, to find out. So it might be, that the question for the name of the pattern wont be recognized...
@Duckeyd:
An amendment to the rules of diary would be helpful. But to get that means another change in the forum and Im not sure if that would be helpful in the end.
Every change in the last weeks brought new problems in the forum.... :(
I can second the motion! good idea! absolutely -- seems like a no brainer Great suggestion Tinkerbell62 :) I have asked several times for information. Sometimes I got an answer, sometimes not. Thanks for the discussion!
