Tell us more!
Dear everyone,So much beautiful work and ideas are shown on this website every day!
I really enjoy your photos and then wonder: what kind of crafting person are you?
Questions like:
- Why did you embroider this red rose and not that other rose pattern?
- How long did it take you to knit that intricate baby jumper?
- Why did you choose the colours of your piece?
- Is your necklace made for a special dress or evening?
- Do you always choose e.g. black and never any other colour?
- Have you more hobbies than crochet amigurumis?
- What yarn is this made of?
- Who is the lucky person you made this present for?
Now I know not every one of us is able to write English. Therefore shy to write something down. Dont be!!!
And ofcourse keep your personal information hidden on this (open internet) website. But not your craft intentions please!
And did you know of translate.google.com and the more language technical deepl.com/translator ?
I use these to give some of you feedback on the problems you have.
These translators work the best if you use short scentences.
Hope to see - and hear! - more of your beautiful crafty projects soon!

Hello KatharinaV,
what you wrote is something that I totally agree to.
When I see the beautful pictures in the Stitch Diary, then I have a lot of questions - for example: how long does it take to finish, how was it stitched (hook or frame) etc.
Some informations to go with the pictures would be really great and it doesnt have to be anything really personal :)
A few days ago I wrote a thread in which I suggested, that the information whats the name of the picture/pattern would be great as well.
Im really looking forward to all the great work to be shown - even if Im more into cross stitching, I also sometimes have a peek into the knitting section, which is a big hobby of a friend.
Great suggestion with google translation - I did use it to help with something in russian :D
I really love seeing everyones work. And the english language is hard, so dont feel bad if you cant get it perfect! Most translators do well enough to get the info!
I love seeing and finding new patterns I want to cross-stitch!
This site has been really good for finding those! Very beautiful! Great ideas -- lol ... apples dont last long enough for fancy duds
