Uploading scans from a book???

Hi, im trying to upload a pattern scanned from a book but it got moved to recycled with a message saying its from a book an not an idividual scan. So what i want to know is what am i doing wrong??? Do i need to scan the entire book only??? Then do i put it in the magazine section??? Sorry for all the questions im new and unsure. Thank you for any help given.

Individual patterns taken from a magazine or book is not allowed anymore. If you want to share an individual pattern from a magazine/book - since we are talking about cross stitch here - you can either make it into a repaint, or you have to share the entire book/magazine (in the books/magazines section). Currently theres a bounty for the booklet youve shared that pattern from.

Thank you so much for getting back to me and letting me know. Thats a great help, Ill scan the rest of the book and then Ill upload that. If I can ask you one more thing please, how do I sort the bounty after???

Wonderful, Thank you so much for your help. I have uploaded it to the "magazines" section as I couldnt see a "Book" section. I really hope that I have done it right this time. And again thank you for all your help, Im completely new and a bit lost and your being so nice to help me :)
