Fairies and Flowers Scarf by Jackie Erickson-Schweitzer (HeartStrings FiberArts H78-0179)
Edited by pitussa at 2022-8-15 16:50Dainty fairy motifs at one end of this scarf transform into flowers at the other end.
Bead embellishment defines the fairy heads and flower buds.
Taking advantage of the natural bias of the lace stitch patterns, a scalloped edging frames the entire piece.
For the fairies, a cable twist and eyelets define the body and wings while a bead (placed with the crochet hook method) represents the head.
