The yoke is worked with waves stitch, bobbles and yarn overs; these stitches used together create “spirals” that “move” the yoke and recall the snow-covered mountain peaks hit by the wind.It is a top-down, circular yoke sweater. Gradual increases are made in the yoke (made up of a single chart that contains the increases) up to the sleeves that will be put on hold onto holder or scrap yarn and then resumed later. This way there will be no seams. We used two yarns held together: a 100% wool yarn (Fin) held double together with a single thread of a mohair yarn (Stil). The effect of these two yarns together gives a very delicate melange texture.
