pattern downloads and comment button question

hello lovelies. just wondering who gets the coins for when someone downloads your patterns? i uploaded a pattern and put the cost 150 coins and can see several people have downloaded the pttern but i have not received any coins from them downloading?? if we dont get a "royalty" for uploading ptterns then what is the point in charging coins for them at all? just curious! im
still learning here!

also! on a couple
if my posts it looks like the admin ? is telling me to use the comment button to thank people in my posts but there is no comment button.. just a reply button which ive been using

All the moderators can download patterns for free to see if they are allright or not.
And as Strawberry Cat says ,sometimes the download doesnt work,and people try more times to download.

You can check your incoming coins here:

We cannot really know how many people actually downloaded a file, as some may download it several times (for example if the download fails). The number of "htank you"-comments is meaningless, as many just post a thank-you to get the coins for the reply.

The comment button will show up once youve reached level 1, at 26 credits (it looks like a coffee cup).

thankyou. ive been checking my points log but didn’t see any fromfor the pattern despite it saying there were 7 downloads! i know the comment ts don’t mean anything other than to thank me. and i’ll look out for the comment button once i reach level 1! seems odd to tell someone to use that instead when it’s not available!! thanks again

there has to be a comment button somewhere because an admin took points from me for not using it lol i’ll see once i hit level 1
