I dont really like amigurumi books, I tend to prefer Ravelry or Etsy to find good amigurumi patterns.

One of the first ones I brought was Crochet Iconic Women by Carla Mitrani. But now like magicloop said, I prefer etsy or raverly.

Dont forget youtube! I love learning about crochet techniques before I start a new project, so youtube is fantastic for that.
