Here are progress pics of my finished basket, I needed a place to store all of my new yarns (I dont have that many because Ive been learning crochet since march with breaks in between). I didnt have purple yarn as thick as the white one(hook size 10) so I used a different material and thickness altogether. Do I recommend using different sized yarns? It feels so wrong to do, but its doable, nobody on youtube talks about it and I looked everywhere to see if anyone did it like me. The thinner yarn looks awkward and a bit stretched but the basket was for my eyes only so I didnt care. I dont love thick yarns either, I like to stick to yarn for hooks of size 3-4. I am waiting to receive my lace hooks in the mail though (size 0.5-1-1.25...you get the idea) and Im scared I wont actually use them cause idk if I have the patience for lace crochet.
