Cuff Down is Where Its At

After several attempts with a toe up sock I switched over to the cuff down and couldnt be happier. Of course, the Drops Fabel yarn on the first sock is overworked and difficult to work with but Im three socks in--progress. As soon as i have a pair complete I will post pictures.

I used Crazy Sock Ladys YT tutorial and an anatomical toe tutorial.

Thank you for this post.   I was about to ask what patterns would be suggested.   Guess Ill check out youtube.
I have yet to try a sock and Im sure cuff down would be better for me as well.(Im wondering if I can do something to cover my compression stockings. (which are just tubes and no toe.

I like doing toe up because I feel thats the only way I manage to make it fit right - cuff down I always make the foot part too long somehow.

I love toe up to make sure I have enough yarn

Thanks for sharing! I just made my first pair toe-up, but maybe I will try cuff-down next. Its always good to try new things because different things work for everyone!

I learned toe up and on magic loop. Now, after many socks I swear by cuff down on dpns.
I feel so grateful that us, modern knitters are very much spoiled for choice
