How can I upgrade to "DIY2"?

It does take time and patience to level up, best way is to share patterns, replying to posts, creating threads, spending time on site, visiting people’s spaces… these are all little steps that add up. There is a calculation posted in this forum that’ explains the multipliers. But, honestly, just being active and patient are the best ways.

Things should be back to normal now.. it may be obvious but are you using the correct new pattern forum to post? It will not allow you to post new threads in the main pattern area, you have to go up to the “post a new pattern” area, it is marked with red typing. I am lvl2 and I couldn’t post patterns yesterday, but today, things were back to normal. If you are posting in the correct forum, you should be able to share your patterns, even at lvl0, after all, that is how we all started. There used to be a time, where people could set the what level can view/download patterns, but I am pretty sure, there is an admin thread saying not to do that anymore.
