Some designer dont publish Russian patterns on Ravelry, because there are other platforms to sell patterns to Russian customers, they even do immediate transfers and get the pattern to their email outside any platform. Russian crafters (not all, but plenty) find Ravelry confusing and difficult to use, so they give up almost immediately. Plus no Russian resident can now purchase patterns from Ravelry, there are workarounds for payment, but why bother. So whats the point in indicating that pattern is available in Russian on a foreign platform? I see no point. Im a native, Russian is my mother tongue. I have out of curiosity purchased the pattern and read it through. If it is a computer aided translation, it was at least proofread and makes sense (to me at least). |
