Solving your own bounty

Hi all,

I had a quick question and couldnt find the answer.
What happens if you can solve your own bounty? Do you still get the points reward or not?
I had one pattern that I posted in bountys but bought a few weeks later and posted. I needed the pattern for a gift, but I didnt get the coins. There was a thing the mod put as a note that said SBBO but I dont know what that means.

Im not sure about the note, but I do remember solving my own bounty once, and I did get the coins (minus the forum tax). Its been a few years ago though, so I dont know how it is now.

If a bounty owner posts the pattern, the coins are always returned to the bounty owner.
There is no entry for the coins in your points log, however.
