Swan Tenderness

I stitched this 5 years ago from a free pattern I found on the Internet. It is called Swan Tenderness. The pattern is after one of the famous paintings created by the German artist Alexander Koester "Swans".It took me 2 years on and off to complete the project. I used 18 count ivory Aida, DMC floss and gobelin stitch in 4 threads. There are 75 DMC colors used in this work.
