I can fully relate to that. I only give to people who ask for it <3Happy crafting to you too :) Only to those I consider "knit" worthy! Most people dont appreciate the time, money and effort that goes into making a handmade gift IMHO. If someone is a crafter themselves they usually are very appreciative. I do. But only if Im very sure that the recipient appreciates handcraft.
I learned it the hard way... Yess me too, i only give to people who will appreciate it. Only for loved ones who appreciate the work.
And only because most people have hardly any idea how much work and, above all, time is involved.
Most people think, oh, its just your hobby. And you always have time in the evenings anyway.
You could do the math. For the time I invest in hand-knitted socks, the recipient can clean my apartment.
Strange, nobody likes to hear that
