Granny Squares for Cardigan

Here is a pic of two of the squares that I will use for my cardigan. I picked a center rose from a blanket pattern. Then I designed the 3-row border myself. I am just about to try stitching the squares together with a blind slip stitch from the wrong side. I will post more pics when the sweater is close to completion. I still have more squares to crochet and more colors to start.
