What are the fiber art projects you‘re planning for 2025?
Since time is flying like crazy, I am getting ready to put together my knitting plans for 2025!They always change of course but these are the projects I definitely want to complete:
[*]At least 2 pairs of colorwork socks from the new Charlotte Stone book! Ive tried the swan ones before and they came out HORRIBLE
[*]The Stardew Valley Socks (once I am a master at colorwork socks haha)
[*]Matching Olga and Holger Sweaters for me and my husband from Petite Knit
[*]Making my own yoke sweater pattern from the Strange Brew book by tincan knits
[*]Twist Loop Top by otherloops for summer! This has been on my list FOREVAAA
Im so curious to see what you guys are dying to make in the next year!!! :)
Ihave a lot of plans, but sometimes plans changes.
First of all i have to finish some gifts to the kindergarten, i donate dolls clothes to play with.
Then i want to crochet the Harry Potter figures for my self ( just love Hary Potter)
And other things on my to-do-list is similar sweaters for my son and granddaughter.
The nativity scene from Aradiya once again for myself.
Some baby clothes for charity .

Ohh, I am sending you knitting mojo through the internet :)
I just bought a second hand watercolor palette and some watercolor paper and want to try it - do you have any recommendations on how to start?
I am too scared of steeking eek haha If you are doing some steeking this year, please let me know how it went! Also how do you even find patterns for steeking? I want to actually knit some of the patterns in my queue vs always following whatever a designer's new patterns are, try more designers and branch out, but the most important is probably knit from stash yarn. My mantra for 2025 is going to be "You have yarn at home."Best of luck on your projects! I don't know if I can design my own yoke yet. Where did you get the Tide Loop Top pattern btw? I have the tee version waiting for me to finish this year too... Rainshine replied at 2025-1-1 23:46

Wait haha now I am confused :D what pattern are you looking for?
The Euros looks SO SO cool, I wanna knit it too - honestly, cables are not bad. I struggle a lot with colorwork and tension but cables are not bad. I am knitting the Northwest sweater right now and it‘s SO MUCH FUN!! It just takes a lot of yarn and time haha I would like to get my knitting mojo back this year.Last year's knitting mojo was transferred to drawing and watercolour painting. This year I would like to do a couple of cardigans for myself and a couple of sweaters.I love colour work, so I might try to steek a cardigan just for fun. We'll see if my mojo can make a split this year between fibre and paper. Haha I also need to knit from my stash and not buy any new yarn next year! That‘s always a problem for me because there is so much amazing new yarn coming out all the time! What is in your Queue?
I don‘t have the loop tide tee, I am planning to knit the Twist Loop Top! Sadly I hadn´t had much time this year to do as much crafts as I used to do so for next year I hope to finish at least 3 unfinished cross stitch projects I have lying around and to finally finish a crochet blanket made out of different granny square patterns I haven´t worked on in a while because these squares are complicated and take ages to finish ( and I made the mistake to crochet them with a very fine yarn so I need a lot of them to get a nice sized blanket).
My sister also gifted me a cute Amigurumi book for christmas so I will make at least one of the patterns out of this book, too. static/image/common/user_online.gif Asuna static/image/common/clock.gif 2024-12-26 17:19

I got the Mini Amigurumi Birds book from Sarah Abbondio . There are so many lovely cute bird pattern inside. Edited by Frelldor at 2024-12-27 20:02
I want to crochet a set of amigurumi called "black mass" and make a diorama out of them. For this I need a pattern of a huge Baphomet, little nuns, imps, priests, several types of death with a scythe, skulls, skeletons, plague doctor, a creepy witch and much more. Im still selecting patterns.
Well, you also need to buy a transparent box of the appropriate size for the diorama.))) @Frelldor that sounds awesome and spooky haha I hope you post a pic when you‘re done causw I would love to see the finished piece :) @Asuna I just looked up the book and the little birds are so cute!!
I love tiny amigurumi haha Hello! Your projects sounds really nice and fun, I dont have a plan ahead as I tend to crochet and knit on my free time :) I sure hope to improve on my knitting and do some winter vests before the season is over! Thanks for the nice thread, I hope to read some more fun suggestion, cheers :) @Everia vests are always good projects! Quick and fun :)
I also hope more people share their plans, I always get so inspired by what others are making!
