In the UK we get Cross Stitch Gold and Cross Stitch Crazy.I like CSG more, but it depends on what sort of patterns you might like.Jill Oxton's Cross Stitch is also OK (Australian publication).

There’s lots you can do besides framing it. For smaller projects you can make little bookmarks or if you’re giving gifts then make cards out of it or even Christmas decorations!

Google and YouTube! I’m someone who prefers videos so I can follow along easier so I would suggest watching a couple of YouTube vids till you get the hang of it then go crazy!

For beginners start with aida 14 count. It’s east to see the holes and youcan trim it down to size after you finish your piece.
