Just a little fun
Hello!I was wondering if anyone would like to play a silly game, rules are simple:
- Read the comment above yours and comment on how you would translate that in your native language
- Share a word you like in your own language, maybe something a little unique or harder to translate (keep curiosity alive!)
- Add a little something of yourself/your life/what you enjoy or you are up to :) this way we can have maybe start a nice conversation, or at worst earn a few coins :)
I'll start, my word in French is Flâner
I really enjoy the meaning of this!
My little something is: I went to try skiing for the second time in my lifetime, quite challenging for me. At the end of the day, I really enjoyed curling up next to the fireplace and knit some rows, drinking a hot cup of tea, which is much more my style but I'd like to continue to challenge myself out of my comfort zone for the sake of trying new things :)
Thanks for reading!
Pichicho = "pooch", a small dog:) I googled it. Thanks for educating!
Speaking about pets, there are 1 cat and 14 canaries living at our home. The young tuxedo cat called Chica went through a spay procedure recently so has to wear a onesie for 2 weeks to protect her belly.
The canaries occupy three cages and only two of them have names, Mamacita and Papacito. All started 3 years ago with the purchase of this couple, and since then they produced a big family of their own:)
The male birds give us nice concerts every morning. Their singing makes you think you live in paradise. I'd translate Flâner in Russian as прогуливаться, прохаживаться (без особенной цели), слоняться без дела.
How would you say отголосок in your own language?
I love stitching, movies with subtitles, foreign languages, cats, symphony orchestra music concerts, and interesting life experiences.
Just for the sake of those few coins - next person! Edited by Frelldor at 2025-1-10 07:45

Cats? Do you like cats? I also adore "котэ"))))).
I used to have 8 cats at home. Now there are only 2 left. But I still love them very much. Well, my native language is English which makes this game is a bit difficult. So...
We have one large grey and white cat.She is cute, but she likes to get into my houseplants.I prefer tiny dogs, crafting, reading, and weather. What is your weather like?
this is fun! hahaha!
I love read all those weird characters (weird for me of course) in russian! (thanks google translator!)
I'm not a cat person, I'm a "pichicho" person! :D
It's a difficult word, I know, kind of slang. Hope you find out!
