Repaint for cross stitch patterns questions
I like a lot of patterns that are posted in the Repaint Forum only area. I know that a lot of them come as standard PDF from various purchase sites. I have seen the patterns, at times, posted in both repaint and cross stitch forum as a PDF for download.Is there a way that the PDF can be posted, by the member, also in the cross stitch section? Or will this cause the forum to be overloaded with excess patterns? Will this also allow the person posting to receive double the amount of posting rewardsthat would be against forum rules?
If allowed, can the PDF file be posted separately, in the Repaint Post of the patterns, to be downloaded vs the Repaint files...xsd..pcs...etc. I have seen this occasionally too in that forum.
I have tried Cross Stitch Saga that I downloaded from the forum to open the Repaint files before and I did not care for it. To me it was too confusing. I only use android now not any windows based programs.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't use anything that works with the repaint pattern files and you can't run a cheap laptop say to access them via pc stitch/pattern maker, you'll have to accept that these files are inaccessible to you. This won't give you the 'original' designers PDF but you can download the xsd or PCS design and then using the appropriate programme have it 'print to PDF' then you have a PDF you can use to stitch from.
