If you wanna stitch with 2 strand use the loop method and you only waste 1 strand of your floss, fold in half and you will have two, waste less, also dont rotate the needle in your hands

I 99% stitch in linen. so for linen 36ct and below, I use 2 strands over 2. I use loop method when using non variegated color only. For linen above 36ct, I use 1 strand over 2.
