This is a lovely memory for you to treasure... I still have the first piece I ever stitched.. It was a little sampler I picked up in a 5 dollar basket at Woolworths... I stitched it in a week and I was hooked... The next week I went back to Woolworths and the 5 dollar basket was still there... I had a rummage around and I found another little sampler a bit different to the first one.... Both samplers now hang in my sewing room... They arent perfect, but I treasure them both...
Quite a few years have passed since I stitched those first two little samplers, but they are a special reminder of the humble beginnings of my cross stitch addiction.....:lol:lol

The panda is a cutie. Never get rid of it. He is a little treasure.
If he was mine I would stitch him onto a piece of linen and stitch some decoration and a verse around him. Then frame it.

Ill never forget my first cross stitch. It was a christmas stocking in the 3rd grade it was about two inches tall . I wish I still had it. I have several that I did in high school but I wish I still had my first. Ive gone from a two inch tall stocking to my largest one being a 20x16 Mickey with Fireman
