Reccommend lace knitting patterns! (red envelope)

Edited by anniekins at 2025-5-29 20:01

Hello!

I'm looking to hear about peoples favorite lace shawl patterns! Especially on fine yarns, such as lace or cobweb.

Any style is okay. I like shetland lace and estonian lace myself. :)

So, what are your favorite patterns?

Also, as a thanks for coming to the thread, you may go to my profile for a free red envelope.

Great question. I personally don't knit tho.

Thank you for the gift! I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but search for klaziena here on the forum. I made this a while back and absolutely adore it.

Edit: sheesh, i just realised you asked for knit patterns. I only crochet! I never got the hang of knitting.

Hi, I like «  old «  patterns from Jared Flood, lace with bobbles, but I am not sure if they are knitted with as thin yarn as you like...

So many thanks for the gift ! Shawls aren’t the projects that I usually knit so I can't help a lot... I love the shawl when the Flowers bloom by Lillygo, I am sorry, I don’t know how to include the link but it is available on Pindiy and another one that I like is Slalulu by Naama Ido, also available on Pindiy, although it isn’t really a lace pattern - so not exactly what you are looking for - but a brioche knitting that can look very airy and see through with a fine thread. Having read all the replies. I shall add more patterns to my list because I found some great suggestions made by other knitters in response to your question ! Have a good day !

Here are some from my bookmarks. I have not made any of these yet, so these are just ones that I want to make eventually. I don't have any experience with the patterns themselves. :)

No worries, thanks for coming!

Ah, I don't necessarily mean a pattern you knit over and over again. I also only knit most things once~ But rather, just a pattern that you really loved ♥
