I meant commenting once where we leave the text sth like : “thx for sharing “ under the patterns. ...
But we don't just write "Thanks for sharing!" and "Very beautiful!".
We should be able to write freely. But there should be something that tells us that we have already written in the topic.
Maybe even how many times we have written.
Maybe the admin has such an option and it is not available to everyone.

Duplication is also observed in the comments.
Duplicated comments, can occur for a variety of reasons.
Sometimes I reload the page several times to show all the comments.
For example:
Someone writes me a reply to a post and I reply with a comment.
The next day, if another person writes to me in the same topic.
I open it and the comments are hidden.
I open it again to show all the comments and only then I write. Complicated and slow work.
Sometimes I even log out of the forum and log in again because the page does not load. And it has been like this for some time.

Yes, we do under the sharing patterns.

I just give it a "like". As you know, you can't like it twice. When I try to like it again, the system tells me that "you've already rated this topic." And I immediately understand that I've already been here and written my "Thank you."
But duplicates still happen to me. Sometimes the site freezes. I click the "Send" button and nothing happens. I wait a bit and click again. Again, nothing happens. And so on several times. Then suddenly the connection is restored and I see two or three of my identical comments.
Therefore, I think this explains the widespread phenomenon on this site, when one user writes three "Thank yous" in a row.
It's sad that someone was fined. I don't think that people intentionally write multiple comments.

That happened to me yesterday or the day before.
First my post wouldn't appear, the page was extremely slow again, and then it was suddenly there three times.
I tried to edit the last 2 with “post by accident” or something like that, but that wasn't possible either. For whatever reason.
If we at least had the possibility to become active ourselves and delete double posts.
Nobody does that on purpose. All in all, it's very unfair if such multiple posts, which are also due to inadequate website performance, are fined.

Duplicate comments can arise from a variety of issues related to website functionality, user behavior, or even system errors.
Common causes include errors in the website's code, such as plugins or dependencies that are not initialized properly,
or problems with the way comments are processed in databases.
Which is the technical side of things.
User-side issues like slow internet connection, multiple clicks on the submit button, or browser caching also lead to duplicate comments.
Which happens quite often here on the forum.
That's why I wrote in the previous comment that I reload the page a few times to make sure I'm not duplicating.
And so everything gets complicated.

Thank you for joining the topic.
Yes, such duplicates are obtained, I already wrote some of the reasons.
Yes, there are fines. I think that the higher the level the user has, the greater the fine,
but there should be information about these fines.

Hi Caro1970!
Please, can you give us some information about the fines for duplicating a comment or reply in the forum?

As you all already mentioned, sometimes the internet or siteis slow, and you get a duplicate post because you click twice or more on reply.
But we can see if it is a site or internet problem or just a member who post on purpose multiple times.
When it is a site or internet problem the comment are almost at the same time. But if someone do it on purpose there is much more time between the comments.
And sometimes we see members just making comments like this. Nnyygfrdrtg.
Just to get pin.
These members are oftenly fined by minus pin.
Because members may not abuse the system to get pin.
These comments are deleted and they get minus pin.
The more duplicate or abuse commentsthe higher the minus pin.
I hope it is more clear now??

Are there any differences in fines?
Will a forum member with a higher level 7,8,9,10 have a larger fine than a forum member with a lower level 1,2,3?
