there is a subreddit r/pindiy but it appears to be unmoderated :/ maybe we should start a discord channel?

I think that could be a good idea to keep everyone connected if something like this happens again, but there could be no actual pattern sharing in the server (in private I believe is a gray area) as they could technically remove the server. I believe that happened already to a server made to share popular patterns, and obviously everyone got their panties in a twist online :dizzy:
