House Plant Collectors
Hello to fellow plant collectors. I collect succulents and recently started collecting houseplants. Share your favorite houseplants and any care tips.I have a terrible black thumb, sadly. I am absurdly happy that I’ve managed to keep my marimo alive for five years now! It’s hard to over/under water a plant when it lives in a fishbowl full of water! XD Highly recommend for anyone like me who’s never been able to keep a houseplant before. I was so glad to see your post. I love LOVE houseplants and only have about 35 or 40 in a small apartment lol Even though I'm running out of room I can't stop myself from grabbing another when I find one I want at a good price. The front of my apartment gets sun that plants love, but the back where my living room is doesn't get much sun at all. So, I've got a lot of grow lights so I can decorate the way I want with my plants.
I have 2 big Peace Lillies, tons of Pothos. 2 Swiss Cheese plants, 4 Prayer plants, a Ponytail Palm, Norfolk Pine tree, a Spider plant with probably 50 babies, Hoya and a bunch of others including some cactus. I'll try to upload some pictures soon. I used to collect houseplants but ran out of space. Now I have a single sanseveria which seems to survive absolutely anything! I can't wait to collect them again though. I'd love some succulents, but would definitely love plenty of trailing pothos and hoya as well! I have tons of houseplants and outdoor gardens and greenhouse.
My favorite house plant is this rabbits foot fern
Hi Solnce, I just got my first orchid. Phalaenopsis one. Any tips? Its in a transparent pot and water when it seems dry. I love orchids, and I’m looking to expand my house plants to other plants that are safe for cats ? I don't like damp soil/compost inside my house so I don't have houseplants. Feel free to share some plant pictures everyone. I am sure we all would love to see them. Last year I have started to collect carnivorous plants, mainly sarracenias. I am more of an orchid kind of a person. I have several. I am an orchid collector as well. Most of them are Phalaenopsis orchids. I have a succulent and a cactus
I collect succulents too We have lots of cheese plants, they are pretty low maintenance
