Damn ads!!

Look, Moderators and Admins and Owners of this Forum:

It is understandable that you need to have some ads on the site to sustain your profit.
But not to the extent that at every click you make, you get a nasty, HUGE (when the whole screen is covered), annoying, frustrating, stupid ads.
When you click on "x" trying to get rid of another ad - it won't let you. You have to click on "<-" to go back to a previous page to start all over again.
It is a little too much this time, don't you think?
Please, please, have some mercy on the users of this Forum, reduce the ads to a REASONABLE amount to keep this Forum interface user-friendly!
The truth is - it's us, hunderds of thousands members of this Forum, that pay your salary. PLEASE do have some respect, will you?

Dear Turquoise, I did not do any personal attacks here. Nor did I imply diminishing Pindiy employees importance nor my respect of them and the work they do for us. We are all humans here, with families and real life things to do.
As a fully contributing member and active user, I ask to reduce amount of ads as the level of their presence at the moment has become really aggressive.
I have no idea why some users do get the ads and others don't. I am using a work computer and cannot install any VPN or apps against the ads.
And thank you @test but no, I won't buy any VIP status, either. First, I consider it unfair on the part of the Admins, second, it's discriminating. I am buying patterns here using my pins, and that's good enough.
On behalf of other ad-abused members, I plead with the Admins to make it easier on ads. Thank you!

To me, a "solution" for sites I enjoy like this, some cooking blogs and youtube channels was to navigate them in 2 ways.
One: when I actually want to use the site, I use the blockers. There are ones for pc and for cellphones, all bases covered. This way I can do what I want to do without too much issues.
Two: when I have free time (doing ptojects, watching something else, just listening to music) I leave these sites/channels on without blockers. Sometimes I click randomly on them by hand, sometimes I use autoclickers to help. This way I can still help these sites but not be bothered.

Setting this all up the first time might be a bit of a hassle, but after that everything flows.

This have worked for me for several years now.

Respect????? Who MUST do some respect ???? Ofcourse you can say/complain your opinion but some BIG words indeed reduce the worth what you want to say...

You say you understand our need but You dont feel any respect or patience... We are thinking always before you ... We are human too (living thing who has real life, family and friends ) Please next time talk/complain with better words ...

We have some solutions ... As our tech team account "test" send you link .... VIP user is a one of the solutions... We are trying for now ...

I use Opera browser with ad block enabled and the only ad action I see on the internet is the sites who block browsing completely with an ad block enabled. Generally I find another site to read the article in that case if possible.

Sometimes I use Vivaldi which somehow blocks the disable your ad block but I prefer Opera.

Thank you. Where can I find out more about that please? I didn't know it was an intentional thing as there never used to be so many full screen ads just lots of other ads.

A little respect can come from us all. I don't have any issues, maybe it's because I'm using Firefox as browser in combination with an adblocker. Try things for yourself before start complaining!

Where are you getting these ads? I don't think I've ever seen one... Specially not a fully blocking ad.. You need to get a better adblocker my friend!
