Knitting Styles
Edited by anniekins at 2025-10-9 19:00Hello, lovely knitters! I’ve been thinking lately about how our knitting styles and habits evolve over time. For example, do you find yourself sticking to your favorite go-to stitches and patterns, or do you love experimenting with new techniques and challenging projects? And what about yarn choices—do you tend to reach for the same types over and over, or are you always hunting for that perfect new fiber to play with? I’d love to hear your stories and maybe even some tips on how you keep your knitting fresh and exciting after all these years. Let’s share our knitting journeys and inspire each other! ??
When I started knitting many years ago, it was mostly towels and sweaters on large needles. But over time it has evolved into small needles, lots of colors and challenging lace patterns. I have some safe choices when it comes to baby clothes, but there is always room to try new patterns.
If we think about crochet, this is probably where I have developed the most over the last few years. Started with the easy teddy bears and now trying more intricate things. Again, it is on small needles with cotton yarn. Big needles and thick yarn simply do not work for me Edited by Polaca at 2025-9-25 08:23
