Nora Corbett - Trick-O-Treat Fairy
Here she is, my Halloween Trick-O-Treat Fairy. Ah, how much I love those fairies and pixies from Nora!This Fairy is stitched on 28 ct Cashel Summer Khaki linen with DMC floss, Kreinik metallic and Mill Hill beads. Finished size is 8" x 13". I stitched her skin with petites. The pattern is from September 2008 issue of Cross-Stitch & Needlework magazine.
It's also available on this Forum in .xsd format which I used. I spent 3 weeks on this project and it was a pure pleasure to work on her.
I am not sure if this Fairy will be ever framed.
There is another Halloween Fairy (in a domino mask) which I plan to stitch also. Maybe next year.
Now that's a patience I wish to have some day, cross stich works are so great looking!
