Can we donate pins/coins to a friend?
Edited by anniekins at 2025-10-23 09:57Good morning, good evening everyone!
I have a friend who created an account today. I'm excited for her to get started. Is there a way to give her some of my pins/coins?
IIRC, way back when, people would get into trouble for begging for coins, but is there really a way to give them to a friend?
I tried to find tips or info regarding how to do that, but I didn't find anything.
Any suggestions?
TIA
:)
Hello, Im trying to transfer my pins to my pindiy account from the pinbk account and it doesnt let me. If I go to settings and tranfer it says that the user doesnt exist, and if i got to the "Transfer Pin to pindiy.com's account" it doesnt let me write anything of the input fields and I dont understand why. Also I have 2000+ pins so is not the amount the problem. Any idea why is that? Thank you
Hi!
I think you can send pins going to Settings/Credits/Transfer.
And there is the option of rating too. kkoma75 replied at 2025-9-26 01:43

Thanks! I was able to navigate to Settings/Credits, but I don't see anything even close to Transfer.
Maybe I should look at it tomorrow with fresh eyes.
Maybe you need higher than Diy1 to do it.

but this is the link to the page.
Mine always has my userid filled in automatically to transfer to but you just change that to the userid of the person you want to send to.
Be aware that for some reason whatever amount you send the system sends it twice so make the transfer half of what you actually want to send.
If you can't send any due to your level if your friend posts here I'll be happy to send them some pins as a gift. Edited by JessIYarn at 2025-9-27 02:40

Thanks for the additional information!
It must not be something available at DIY.1.
Thank you for your generous offer. That's very kind of you and appreciated, but unnecessary.
I had someone a very kind stranger do this for me I can ask if u don’t find out I think years ago you could. Perhaps message an admin? Useful post. Many thanks for the informacion!
