I picked my yarn before the pattern ?

I fell in love with the yarn before choosing the pattern. Anyone else crochet this way?

All the time!It’s how I ended up with a significant stash.The plus being, if I see a pattern I’m desperate to cast on for straight away, I normally have something on hand that will work

Sometimes people give me yarn, for several reasons. But then it's trying to look for a pattern that is right for the yarn. Is also very nice, you can keep looking at new patterns ;)
