Hook or Needles?
I switched between crochet and knitting this week. I need a creative boost sometimes, so I go digging through my WIPs to see which ones that NEED to be done, and what yarn I have to make something new.Do you tend to stick to one or mix both?
P.S. Please rate this post! Pins are free for you and a lovely gift to me. Thank you!
I try to focus on one project at a time, otherwise I find I don’t get anything finished.I knit more often, but if I find myself in a knitting slump, I’ll switch to crochet Vssquad99 replied at 2026-1-20 17:10

Ahhh, yes. The dreaded WIP pile. I have a small one (maybe 4 or 5 projects). I watched a girl clean her room on YouTube and attempt to finish all of her WIPs....she had like, 30! I could never.
I love experimenting with different techniques… I’ve already had a basket-weaving phase, a cross-stitch phase, a knitting phase, an origami phase, and at the moment I’m in a crochet phase, more specifically amigurumi… because these are projects I can finish more easily. Balancing work, family, and our hobbies is difficult when it comes to time management. I’m primarily a cross stitcher but like most crafters switch between other crafts. I crochet, knit, sew, embroider, make dolls Christmas decorations ( using different materials) and at moment I’m working my way through the 12 days of Christmas. Also like most crafters I have a pile of WIPs that need attention that I look through periodically :) Crochet for me, no knitting. But other crafts like cardmaking, painting shirts. i cant knit at all. i never tried and i never will HA HA Started with crochet but once I got into knitting haven't been able to put it down :)
