Do you buy on Etsy?
Is Etsy where you always buy patterns?I mostly buy it on Ravelry. At least there, we can see if it is a genuine pattern (and not just a fake AI upload)
It's very rare I would buy on some other platform, and only if it's not on ravelry OR there is a big discount hahahah
For cross stitch, I usually buy at b00sty because my favorite designers are mostly in russia, with the sanctions they can't use etsy for patterns anymore I only really purchase patterns on ravelry these days. I get worried with etsy patterns - especially when they don't have a page on ravelry where I can see other people's finished objects. Even moreso with the uptick in AI pictures and patterns recently :( I buy on Etsy even if during these last months I have realized that most picture describing the project are AI generated and reading comments we can understand that we are not purchasing the project shown in the picture. Sometimes I buy on Etsy. Mostly on Ebay though because the patterns and cross stitch/embroidery stuff I'm after is hard to find elsewhere. I buy knit and crochet on Ravelry.But I buy sewing and quilting patterns on Etsy, as well as materials and supplies I agree, Etsy is very expensive, the postage gets a bit too much, especially for us Aussies wanting overseas kits and projects. Only very seldomly. Most of the time I buy from ravelry, or I buy books from the designer I'm interested in Buy lots of patterns on Etsy. Beware of businesses using AI to fake patterns Yes but only if the product is showing it made up there is way too much AI atm yes darling :) yes and my bobbin is also a good site I prefer Ravelry, but Etsy is really good for sewing patterns!
