Size: Onesize.The width of the headband: After the band has been filled with carded wool, it measures approx. 11 cm in circumference at its center.
Gauge: 30 sts x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch at needle(s) 2,5 mm.
Needle size: Double pointed needles 2,5 mm or circular needle 2,5 mm if using Magic Loop.
Yarn: The band is knitted with 2 threads held together:
1st + 2nd thread: “Soft Silk Mohair”, Knitting For Olive (225 m per 25 g).
Amount: 25 g in total.
Other:
Headband: The pattern fits a headband with a width of 40 mm
Stuffing: Approximately 10–15 g of organic carded wool
Method: The band is knitted top down in the round in Stockinette Stitch. Up along the work, a series of in- and decreases are made, to form the band. When completed, a headband is inserted into the knitted band, and is then stuffed with carded wool to secure the right shape and volume.
