This double-breasted, collarless jacket pattern features a moderate volume and a semi-fitted silhouette. The bust darts on the front panel are vertical and aligned with the waist darts, ending in a pocket opening. The pockets are welt pockets with a frame and flap and are located at waist level. The design features a cut-off side panel on the front and back. The back features shoulder darts and a center seam with a vent. The sleeves are long and double-seam. The collar is a stand-up collar that flows into the V-shaped hem. The edges of the hem are tapered from the waist down. The fastening is with welt loops and buttons. The jacket is fully lined. The length of the jacket reaches mid-thigh.

To sew this blazer, choose woven fabrics with the following properties:- Medium weight, flexible, breathable, soft, non-stretch or with very little stretch, opaque- The fiber content can include natural fibers (wool, silk, cotton, linen), artificial (viscose), blends (wool + silk, wool + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc), and synthetic (polyester, polyester + elastane)- The following fabrics are recommended: wool suiting, gabardine, linen suiting, velvet suiting, denimAttention! We do not recommend stretchy knit materials and lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace). For the lining, we recommend artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + elastane). The blazer on the photo is made with wool suiting. This material is medium weight, flexible, soft, non-stretch. The fiber content is a blend of wool and viscose. The lining is 100% viscose.
