Thelma Dress by Ingrid Dyb
Edited by Trefoil at 2026-6-4 20:12Thelma Dress is a simple dress with a boat neckline, worked in a mock cable texture pattern. The dress has a straight and relaxed fit. It can be worn as a summer dress or styled over trousers for a layered look.
Thelma Dress is worked top down. First, the back is worked flat and shaped using short rows before increases are worked for the armholes. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders, which form the front. The front is worked in the same way as the back, with short rows and armhole increases. The work is then joined, and the dress is worked in the round in pattern to the desired length. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes and bound off to create a neat edge.
