Bothy Threads - British Kings and Queens

This is what I am working on at the moment, not too far to go now only 11 to go.

I love this humerous design from Bothy Threads.

There is a lot of back stitching is does make all the differnece - bring the little figure alive.

Well done so far.Way to go!This reminds me of the rhyme to remember them:Willie, Willie, Harry, Ste, Harry, Dick, John, Harry Three; One, Two, Three Neds in a Row, etc.

Henries four, five, six – then who?
Edwards four, five, Dick the bad,
Harries twain and Ned the lad,
Mary, Bessie, James the vain,
Charlie, Charlie, James again,
William & Mary, Anna Gloria,
Four Georges, William and Victoria,
Edward, George, then Ned the eighth
quickly goes and abdica­t’th,
leaving George, then Liz the second,
and with Charlie next it’s reckoned.


There are some variations to this, as you might think.(Also some objections over Queen Elizabeth being the Second as she is the First of GB) Ho hum.
