Millennium Frame Shipped!

Finally. After having to send ANOTHER e-mail to the company, my frame was finally shipped. I am expecting it by the end of the week assuming that FedEx drops it off at the right time. Since I live in an apartment I like to have stuff delivered to my folks house (and no, they don't mind and encourage me to do so). We have had some family issues arise with a sickly aunt so it is possible that no one will be home but I'm not worried. I just hope that if it does get sent back to the depot that it isn't the one that it is being dispatched from as that one is over 30 min away and not very convenient to get to.

Reply kallyq 2013-10-10 08:46: How can you tell that it shipped? I ordered mine as well and have been waiting. I don't really understand why it takes so long if they are "available." Spent something like $500 there so am kind of concerned. Anyway, would love to know how to tell if it shipped :)

I probably had close to 10 e-mails back and fourth. At one point I actually had a claim open with PayPal but was told that they would ship it...they didn't. And then after sending another e-mail showing that I was losing confidence, they said they would ship it in a few days...they didn't. Then after sending my final warning that I found it to be very unprofessional that they would lie to me twice. I was given a tracking number (I asked for one 3 times prior). They did ship it out the following Monday (I sent my final e-mail on the Saturday) and it came VERY quick. It was sent by FedEx as I live in North America and got it today! There was a small fee being that it came by FedEx but even though the customer service was poor, the frame is great. I waited 7 weeks for the frame to come and it was in stock when I ordered it. Apparently one of the owners said that they are preparing for a show this week so who knows if they are even doing shipments this week as they are apparently only a 3 person company (from what I was told). If you have patience it's worth it but I TOTALLY know how frustrating it can be. Hope this gives a little insight into how long it took and a little about my frustrations and back and fourth e-mails with the company. They did however, send my some of those cap ender-thingies as a gesture of good will. Not sure if I'd go through the hassle again so hopefully I don't break it. :)

I kind of wanted to order the lap stand in the future, but I think that I will pass on that. I haven't waited quite as long as you but am in the process of selling my house so would like to have it before the house sells so I do not have to worry about my address. I think the hardest part is the lack of updates unless you email (and of course knowing from yours and other blogs that this can take forever but not really having a good understanding of why). You had to pay an extra fee to fedex? That is a bummer. I have already been charged something crazy like $140 for shipping since I unfortunately made 2 seperate orders :(

Ouch on the shipping! Hopefully it will ship soon. I've been playing with it a bit today and it really is all that people rave about and I know you'll love it.
