Sewing Area Titles should be formatted as follows, depending on their content. Please do not use symbols such as quotation marks or any of the following # $ ; % _ ' * & @ ( ) ! ? in the sewing titles. If pdf's are in English only, you do not need to include the language in the title.
Patterns: Brand name - Designer name – Pattern number - Pattern name - Sizes (as seen in the pattern printables) – Language – (free)
Magazines: Magazine Name – Issue number - Date of appearance – Year – Language – (free)
Books: Title – Title in published language if not English – Author – Year - Language – (free)
- Before uploading, please remove any security protections the pdf's might contain. You can usually tell if a pdf is secured/password protected if you open the pdf in Microsoft Edge and near the top it says: This file has limited permissions. You may not have access to some features. View permissions. In Adobe pro a little golden lock will show on the left edge and the top Title bar will say SECURED.
- Multiple files/pdfs should be combined into as few archive type files as possible = as few RAR or ZIP files as possible. Uploaded files can be up to 100MB per file.
- Images should be attached using the image or attach button when you create the thread. Do not drag and drop images into the description area. Attached images should be jpg or png only. Webp images will often not show as a cover image in the forum.
