This was my Christmas gift to my father-in-law this past year. We picked out a very woody frame to put it in and I think it gives the stitch a nice setting. This particular design takes longer than expected to stitch. Total time for my was 9 months on and off but I am a college student and I do other activities. The final third of the stitch took about 2 months of one hand stitching with most of my day working on the stitch.
He has the actual painting on the wall in the living room of their home. I had originally purchased the kit to make it for my husband but upon seeing the photo hanging on their wall I decided to make the kit for him so he could have one of his favorite photos else where in their house. It is now proudly dislayed in his work from home office.
