Since HAED has a lot if confetti, it is suggested to stitched per block 10 x10 for you not to be confused while stitching.

Oh wow, jumping into HAED with a big project like Walls Catching Wishes—talk about diving into the deep end with style! You’re right to think ahead about floss amounts; those projects can take forever, and running out of a color mid-way is the stuff of nightmares (especially when the dye lots change like sneaky little chameleons). Unfortunately, many HAED kits don’t include detailed floss quantities upfront, so a good trick is to contact the seller or check out HAED fan forums—people often share what they’ve used. Also, buying all your floss at once is a smart move, or at least the bulk of it, so you avoid those dye lot drama moments later on.
As for stitching one full cross at a time versus working by rows or blocks, it really depends on your preference and patience level. HAED patterns are famously detailed, and some stitchers find it easier to complete each full “X” stitch to keep everything neat and avoid confusion with all those tiny color changes. Others prefer to do rows or blocks, especially if they like the rhythm of stitching horizontally. With a newborn and an office-working hubby, I totally get wanting to find a method that fits your scattered stitching time! My advice: try both and see what feels less like a marathon and more like a relaxing escape. Either way, be ready for a beautiful journey—HAED projects are like slow-cooked meals, worth every minute of the wait!
