Cross Stitch Christmas Ornaments

I have been finding Cross Stitch Christmas ornaments in Cross Stitch Patterns Scanned and in Other Hand Works Resources.  I was told that it was because they were on plastic canvas.  But when I search, say Design Works or Dimensions, these patterns are under both topics.

Why cant they all be listed under Cross Stitch Patterns Scanned since that is exactly what they are?  What does it matter which medium the cross stitch is completed on?  Why are some patterns in one spot and others in the other spot?

Often people will put designers such as The Sweetheart Tree under Other Hand Works as she uses a lot of speciality stitches and not just cross stitch, so maybe its the same with the ornaments.  Good luck with your search.

Plastic Canvas belongs to others handwork section.
because the starting material  is different than of cross-stitch fabrics

In the past, the organization was not very well organized,

I am finding knitting and crochet combined books in other hands section. I was told if they have mostly knitting they are to be posted under knitting. I get totally confused about where to put things anymore. I was looking for a slipper pattern and couldnt find it under the crochet pattern section. A friend of mine found it under the crochet magazines? It was a pattern not a magazine.
