Pattern Maker 4.7 version problem

I just recently downloaded and installed the 4.07 version of the PM4. For the first time Im trying to add beads to the custom bead section and it will NOT let me add them. It gives me the message "ATTEMPTING AN UNSUPPORTED OPERATION". Matter of fact I cant add ANY beads! I can add floss and blends etc but no beads at all.  Has anyone else ever had this problem and how did you get it fixed? I had the 4.06 version and never had this trouble. Please tell me I dont have to go back and start all over again adding blends, colors, beads. This is aggravating! Thanks for any help!

No Eve I never had that Problem before. I know you have to choose out of the range of beads given in the list. otherwise you should make the yourself with custom bead as you probably know.
But why installing version 4.07? 4.08 is available as well, and the range of beads is much larger. Had no problems whatsoever till now

do you add them in the colors section and choose custom bead? What beads are you trying to add?

This is where I am trying to add them. I select new and an error message pops up ATTEMPTED AN UNSUPPORTED OPERATION. No problems adding blends and such. Hmmmm

I have never had that message before. Very odd. I dont know how to advise you. You may want to re-install the program.

Thanks anniekins. I deleted everything and started over but it still gave me the same message.  The 2nd file keeps giving me an error message but Ive downloaded it 3 or 4 times and its always the same. I went back and opened an old version and it works fine so I guess I will have to keep that one. :(

I tried both versions this morning and both are working excactlly as you say but without the errors. I think it is something in the Program, not being installed completely. That is the oly thing I can think of.
