Doubts about Credits and level up

I have a couple of doubts, I was searching around the Forum and I couldn´t find the answers.
1) It seems there is Gold coins wich you earn by doing Tasks and selling patterns and Credits Coins which you earn by sharing and interacting?

2) How many Credit Coins you need to gain one credit to level up?

SETTINGS-User Group-points and permission

for level 2 youll need 126 credits

If you have enough credits, does it automatically switch to level 2? Or do we have to buy level 2 first?

Coins and points are two different things. Coins do not directly affect your level.

You level up by replying to threads and posting patterns and also by spending time on the site.
