A fingering weight shawl in a trapezoid shape. It’s very stretchy, drapey, and soft in Kings Mountain Sock Yarn. The pattern was developed to use up the yarn without too much planning. I bought a set of gradient, hand-painted skeins and created a shawl pattern to use up every inch. I did add in about 200 yards of black fingering yarn (leftover from another project) for visual reasons. Judging by the finished shawl size, it isn’t terribly necessary

It is written as a plain, stockinette shawl in order for the color of the yarn to stand out. It would be considered a recipe, too, as it is general and plain…. so dress it up! My short attention span demanded that I throw in random rows of YO,K2Tog or garter stitch to make it a little more interesting for my constantly wandering brain.

Finished dimensions: Aprox 76” along the top edge, 40” along the bottom edge, 16” deep.
