Want to find out if there is like a Library or place where I can store books/patterns/recipies I want to download once I have enough coins?

you can create a collection and save them there. any book/pattern etc that you download is also saved to the iBooks section.

you can also favourite those you want.

I save everything I may want to buy in "favorites".  When I get the coins to buy, I click on the link, purchase, then go back and download the item from my favorites list.  Works well for me, perhaps you can try it?
