Search Limit

Has anyone noticed the limitations on searches now? Is there a reason for it?

There are more than 5000 HAED Patterns here, but if you search for HAED you only get 100 results. 100 is now the max number of results gotten in any search, when I remember just a little while ago you would get 500 listed.

Cross Stitch Patterns Scanned has gone down to 1984 pages (it used to be more) but it only lets you go to page 1000 max. You can’t even do a total page by page search anymore.


Is this a glitch or are these the new rules?

I noticed this too when I was searching for a pattern that they all seem to be limited to 100. If you get really specific on what you are looking for sometimes you can find it or in one case someone gave me the link to what I wanted in this forum and it was on the system even though it didnt show up in any of my searches.

My guess would be it bogs the server down if they return more than 100 but its just a guess.  Or, it could be a glitch in the system also.

If you sure of it, asked the mods, Im not so long here, if you have questions or need help asked the mods in the rules.
They have been changes a lot, I think this is the best way. :)

I have noticed this aswell. I assumed it was a glitch, I cant really see any reason why this would be intentional. Either way if a mod or admin could shed some light on this it would be appreciated.
