Hi,

I just finished a large project and am getting ready to try framing it.  The size is 26x29 inches stitched area.  Anyhow, I have washed and ironed my piece but there are still a few lingering wrinkles.  Ive read that using Isopropyl alcohol will release those remaining wrinkles.  Has anyone tried this?  Any suggestions on how to get rid of those few remaining wrinkles would be appreciated!

Thanks.

Mary Ellens Best Press is the best! It can be purchased in the US at most craft fabric stores and on Amazon.

Thanks for the tip. I had never heard of this product before. I just checked and my local store doesnt have in in stock. Im going to try the vodka tip and if that doesnt work Ill order some.  Post time 2017-11-15 03:02

This is supposed to be like Best Press, but I have not tried it.
3 oz. vodka (YES vodka) LOL
Then add to 24oz distilled water in large spray bottle and shake well.

Great tip thanks for sharing it!  Post time 2017-11-19 14:22
Ive used vodka for all kinds of other cleaning purposes with great success. Since I have a little of that on hand and I dont have the Best Press Im going to give it a try. Thanks.  Post time 2017-11-15 03:01

I just wanted to post an update.  I tried the vodka tip and it worked.  I mixed half vodka and half water and sprayed in on my fabric while ironing.  It looks great.  Its a huge improvement.
