Gold coins for commenting in Free Talk

Has anyone else not been getting the 5 GC for commenting on posts in the Free Talk section?  Am I just imaging that I used to get 5 GC for each post?  Anyway, I commented on two posts in Free Talk today but did not receive GC.

PS to the above.  I did not get any GC for this new topic either???  I came back and edited my post to let folks know.

I do know that members have never earned coins for starting a topic in Free talk.

I have not received any coins for posting in free talk so far, but I am only new to the forum.

Have you messaged admin/moderators to see if you can get some help?

My coin rewards have been inconsistent, even for daily log in. Or st least the notifications have been inconsistent. I haven’t checked my coin total before and after each post to confirm I’m not getting the coins.

ETA: I just checked for this post and no coins for my reply. Anyone know what’s going on? Just general site trouble?

I just joined today too and having same issue.  Also cant seem to change avatar - any help appreciated.
