Washing out hoop stain

I usually always use scroll rods when I stitch but while traveling I use a hoop.  On my latest project I have noticed a where I was trying to attach my light/magnifier it left a discoloration on my cream linen.  I don’t usually wash my projects before framing because I rarely have this problem using a scroll rod .  I also used hand dyed threads which I am worried will run if I wash.  Any suggestion to remove the mark left on the light fabric where the hoop was?

Any chance you can hand wash just the area you are concerned about rather than risk threads running?

Rub a little soda bi carb. on the area and hand wash it, perhaps that should help.

Better is to wash it, dry it flat and then iron it cottonstand with a thin servet or other what you use, make it a little wet and press your work at the behind, I do it by my work. Roll your work in a towell, if you bring it to the framer.
